This is the 1989 January issue of For the Love of Cross Stitch, a Leisure Arts Publication.
For many years I did a lot of cross stitching and now I do not have the time or inclination to get back to it. I subscribed to a couple of particularly good magazines and this is one of them.
They always have beautiful patterns and wonderful, easy to follow charts. Rather than throw them away, adding to the land fills of the world, I would much rather pass them on to another cross stitcher to use and hopefully pass the magazines on to someone else.
This particular issue has several patterns that can be started for Christmas. A poem and chart about bringing home a Christmas tree through the snow is a nice beginning. Then there is a bag for Santa's helper with Santa's and candy canes, a great country sampler and a delicious recipe for a scrumptious cheesecake!
Lots a great charts and a delicious recipe, can't beat that!
